The Story & Design

At the heart of the piece is an oval labradorite gemstone, set within a heavily textured, fan-like golden pendant. The raw, molten finish reflects the warmth of the sun and the rich, organic landscapes that inspire it. As light catches the central stone, the labradorite shifts with subtly iridescent flashes, creating a striking contrast against the warm, earthy gold vermeil.

Material & Sizing

Gold vermeil (pronounced ver-may) is a high-quality style of jewellery that offers the warmth and luxury of solid gold at a far more accessible price point.
Unlike standard gold plating, true gold vermeil requires a specific foundation and thickness to earn its name. It begins with a base of solid sterling silver, which is then coated in a thick layer of real gold (at least 10k or higher). To qualify as genuine vermeil, this gold layer must be at least 2.5 microns thick—significantly thicker than standard gold flash plating.
The result is a durable, heavy piece that combines the longevity of precious metals with a deep, radiant lustre. It gives you the best of both worlds: high-grade, hypoallergenic materials underneath and a rich, golden finish on top that stands the test of time when cared for properly.
Care Instructions
