Known for its exceptional strength, tear resistance, and rich color fastness, the cord is coated in a special wax that gives it superior grip for holding complex knots without slipping. Its synthetic composition makes it water-repellent and durable against daily wear, while its heat-meltable ends allow for clean, seamless finishes using a thread burner or flame rather than glue.
